SAVORY CHICKEN CRESCENT ROLLS:
serves 8
6 oz cream cheese, softened
4 cups cooked shredded chicken
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 (8oz each) refrigerated crescent rolls
5 Tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup milk
1 Teaspoon minced onion
pinch of dry ranch dressing
Sauce: Heat 1 can cream of mushroom (I would use cream of chicken)
soup and 1/3 cup milk till bubbly.
Bleand cream cheese and 4 Tablespoons butter until smooth. Add chicken, milk, onion and dry ranch; mix well. Seperate dough into 8 rectangles, pressing perforations to seal. Spoon 1/2 cup mixture into center of each. Pull all 4 corners of dough to top and pinch to seal. Place seam side down on a cookie sheet, brush with butter and bake at350 degrees for 25 minutes. Serve with sauce.
