PIZZA POT PIE:
serves 12
2 pounds Italian sausage
2 (6oz) cans tomato paste
2-3 teaspoons oregano
2-3 teaspoons basil
1 cup (4oz) shredded mozzerella cheese
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
10oz can pillsbury all ready pizza crust
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Brown sausage and drain. Stir in tomato paste, oregano and basil. Spoon evenly in a 13x 9 inch pan. Combine cheeses and parsley and spoon over sausage mixture. Unroll pizza crust aand roll out to fit the baking pan. Place crust over cheese mixture and seal the edges. Bake 30-40 minutes, until golden. Let stan 5 minutes before serving.
A real kid pleaser.. I would also say you could sub any of your fave pizza meat in this recipe..
