I also love the Christmas season. The thing I do not like about Christmas is that we often get so caught up in the hustle and bustle we forget really what Christmas is about. This year is the first Christmas for our newly formed family. I am hoping we can start new traditions for *our* family. I am starting a couple of projects hoping they are done by Christmas.. LOL I am going to start working with the kids on ideas and what they want to make or buy for someone else for Christmas.. We will also make cookies and candies and will share those with others also..

I have been reading Candyfoote's blog and she is inspiring me and reading her blog is such an encouragement..

I usually try to make sure my kids have 3 wrapped gifts to symbolize that baby Jesus got 3 gifts, then they get their stockings and presents from each other. I also try to make sure that all children and mommy and daddy have new jammas for Christmas eve. I do not try to go overboard. I think I will make sure that my kids also fill at least a couple of shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child..
