I normally don't have allergies, at least this bad. I spent all yesterday sneezing and sniffing and wiping runny eyes and a runny nose. Today may be a little better. I have only sneezed a jillion times, instead of zillion. I am praying that the worst is past and today will be a day of improvement. I finally gave in and took allergy meds. I was zoning so without them, I decided I couldn't be much more wiped out with them. We will see.
News on the adoption front is looking good. I am trying hard to not be excited. We have had our hopes dashed before on what we thought were "sure" things. For now we pray and wait. I do want it to be a match that God makes, not us. I do have a couple of specific prayer request toward it. First that God would shut the door if it isn't right. We are stepping out in faith, trusting Him to stop us if she isn't the right child. Second, that our local CPS will comply and have the stuff AR needs when AR needs it. That they will not delay, or mess this up in anyway. Third, to help me speak blessings over our local CPS, instead of what I tend to speak, and what I think. For me the third one is going to be the hardest!
Yesterday I finished the cottage cheese. I haven't tried it. It wouldn't do me much good right now to try it. I can't taste anything! It looks good. I may try to dig out my Lasagna Recipe and make Lasagna for Church with it. I do think it is just as much work, or more than the hard cheese by the time you let it set, warm it, wash it.
The whey from the cottage cheese was milkier looking that the hard cheese whey. I decided against cooking rice with it. I did remember to put rice on to cook though. I put it on about 8 last night. Crock pot on low. Checked it about 6 this morning and it looks done. It was a little dry so I added water, but went ahead and cut it off. We will see how it taste after chores.
Today I have no plans other than the laundry that keeps lurking and not getting finished. I have one more load to do, plus jeans to go on the line. I think I can get milk in the frig without making cheese. I hope to have a quite uneventful day. Maybe go play in the garden some and maybe find a sunny spot and just soak some sun up. It should be in the low 70s and sunny.
All have a blessed day!
