Yep, I am resigning from motherhood. Why you ask? Just how long do you have to hear ALL the reasons? Maybe if I go with the biggies today.
This morning early my dh (not sure what that D means) put clothes on to wash. When he decided they were washed long enough he stopped the washer. It still had 11 minutes showing. Which on this machine is anywhere from 11-20 minutes. It was in the middle of the rinse cycle. He proceeds to take the not wet, but dripping clothes and put them in the dryer. I am thankful MN saw it and came and told. I went nuts! I threw the clothes out of the dryer. Grabbed dry clothes to try and soak the 1-2 INCHES of water standing in the dryer out. Some how in stopping the washer it hung on pause so it is STILL flashing 11 minutes. I have done everything but pull the dryer out and unplug it.
His consequence for today was take the clothes and hang them on the line, dripping. He has lost the privilege of using the washer. He will have to find someone willing to wash his clothes are use the tub to do it himself. He will get to use the clothes line. Since it was his sisters clothes too in the washer they aren't to happy. He may have a hard time finding a willing washer person for a few days.
Today doing chores it was cold. The temps weren't that bad, but it is a wet foggy cold that just penetrates you. I got so chilled on my circle.
Came back to the barn and found the ewe I had been babying in hopes of saving had died. :( I hate death!
My baby bucket broke yesterday so the 2-3 gallons of milk I pour out for babies had to come to the house. Good thing it was cold and cows didn't have a lot of milk. I only had 4 gallons for the house.
There was no room in the frig for all 4 gallons so I had to use some. I am making Gouda again. I just didn't want to today.
Once I got in the house I went to find a pair of seldom used house shoes since my feet were so cold. I haven't used them this year. I put them on, took a step and crunch. The whole plastic sole cracked and broke in to pieces. So much for those shoes!
This would all be funny and may in time be funny to me, but I am really struggling with my chronic fatigue, and some serious issues in our family. The easiest way to sum it up is we are under serious attack. Please keep all of us in your prayers, for our physical safety as well as spiritual battle we are dealing with. The kids are really struggling and trying to make sense out of the senselessness of some of their past. It is hard to watch your kids struggle and not have the magic answers. I do know that what Satan plans for evil God is going to use for good.
