My week has been a mix of flying by and dragging.  Yesterday was a drag day.   The day seemed to just go on forever.   While Monday flew by.  I really think I need to work on my diet and the days will go better.  I didn't have any energy all day yesterday.  Monday I got so much done.   Monday night I had a bowl of chocolate ice cream with DH.   Sugar and I just don't get along.  Last night I made myself and my child that is in trouble a large brain food smoothie.  I am hoping to get more done today.  I have avoided sugar today but did have a little bit of hot chocolate made with coco and honey.  I HAD to see if it was good.  It was! 

Does any one else just get so disappointed when their kids chose to lie over stupid stuff?  My 11 yo decided to lie that he was through with school.  He wasn't!  In fact he had 2 days worth.  He had lied the day before and I didn't check.  :(   Makes me crazy!  The kids came with lying issues.  I do lots of praying and lots of consequences for them.  We talk a lot about choices and how they effect your life.  For now he has some serious consequences to deal with from his choices.  

My milk cow's calf is growing and such a gentle pain.  Last night she played catch me if you can.   I could get my hands on her but couldn't drive her in the barn.  She would let me almost grab her and off she would go tail in the air.  We played tag around the other milk cows.  I FINALLY got her in the barn.  I dug out an old lamb halter and she looks so cute with it on.  Tonight I will grab it and we will have leading lesson one.   This morning I made the mistake of letting her out of the barn while I was still milking her mama.  So she decided to just nurse on the other cow!  The other cow wasn't wild about it but decided that it would be OK.  You should have saw me scrambling trying to keep her from nursing, while getting her mom out and the other cow in.  

Yesterday I didn't get much accomplished in the clutter dept.  I just didn't have the energy.  I will try and do better today.  I still want my sewing machine cleaned and then maybe I will want to sew or teach the kids to sew. 

We are suppose to be in the 70s today.  It isn't really cold outside, almost as warm as it is inside.  I really wish my dh had built a small fire this morning early.   It would have taken the chill off the house.  Our house is so well insulated that once it gets cool or warm it stays that way.   Now it is to warm outside.  If I do a fire now I will run us all out it will be so hit in here.

I am learning a new skill!  I am learning to type one handed. I am holding my grand baby and his toy while I finish this post.    He is working on teething so every thing goes to his mouth,
