Yesterday was a good day! Even if satan wanted to steal the good with the dog getting hurt. $75 later he is sleeping in the barn, or was when I went to bed. I did figure out one thing though. I am not going to declutter at bedtime. That just isn't my nature. By then I am ready for bed. Not thinking straight and sure not going to remember to put 10 things up. I did do some decluttering earlier in the day. Kids liked the idea of picking up 10 things before school started. I had planned on having them do a couple of breaks during school to do it a few more times. I did do a lot of decluttering while they worked on school.
Today my goal is to declutter my sewing machine. I had to use it last night. EWWW! My feather pillow had sprouted a hole. I was leaking! So I had to move clutter here and there to find the machine to sew it up. This at 10 pm when I wanted to go to bed!
School went really well yesterday for the kids. They all started late, which usually means it isn't going to be a good day. Yesterday they managed to finish and be ready to go play at about the same time public school kids would have been. I didn't point that out, but I should have. Today MN started early. She got up about 6 and was busy at school as I did my Quite time. She should be done early today. She lives to play outside. Since the weather is supposed to be good I am sure that's why the early work.
I am getting enough milk now to have excess even sharing with friends. I made a gallon of yogurt last week, but it seems to have gotten given away as my milk. Not sure who got it. So I need to make me another gallon. I can't believe they did that! It had yogurt written all over the jar. Oh well, it isn't like I don't have plenty of milk to use. I just have to remember to do it. I am also open to other ideas that use LOTS of milk. I made hot chocolate with stevia yesterday for the kids. It had a bitter taste to it. Not sure if I had to much stevia or not enough or that was just the flavor. I do know that it and oat meal didn't make for a great mix for breakfast yesterday.
My DIL just called me on the radio to share that my Grandbaby rolled over for the first time! She said he was quited surprised with himself :) He is 5 months old and so happy!!!!!
Kids are dressed, including one in pink heels and a pink and purple feathered boa. Wonder if she will do chores in that outfit? I better get busy to. All make it a great day! |
