But it looks like a sunny day!   I hope it warms up fast!   I dread doing chores.   I am just not a cold weather person.  I don't see how those of you that live in the Arctic do it.   If I never had to put on a coat I would be happy or find socks to wear. 

This weekend has been busy but good.  Friday I came home from our produce co-op with a killer headache.  I'm still not sure what brought it on.  I was thankful my kids have had enough training I could tell them not to do anything wrong they wouldn't like the consequences and go lay down.   I think this is the second time in the 3 years we have had them that I went to bed without another adult home.   They were good.  They unloaded produce and put it away.  Then played nice until I got up.  I still had the headache though.  I ended up tossing my cookies.  That seemed to improve it.  I managed to get chores done and went to bed early.  

Yesterday was a great day.  I made a huge pot of Taco Soup  and another one of mash potatoes.   This fit the weather well.  It was cool, only in the 40s with high winds.   My BIL and SIL came and we had a great visit.  Kids loved the gifts.  They really went over board with my 7 yo.  They bought her a pair of hot pink dress up shoes and a pink and purple feather boa.  She was in heaven!   The shoes were just shoes from the thrift shop.  WAY to big!  The funny part is they didn't know if she would be able to walk in them.  They had pretty good heels and were to big with just two straps to keep them on.  She put them on and off she went!  Even outside on the  uneven ground.   Yes, she is a natural born girly girl!    They have played dress up all evening.  In fact when we came home kids were in bed, but the living room is full of dress up clothes. 

After they left DH and I got read and went to town.  We bought my daughter in love's birthday present. I'm not sharing what it is since she reads this blog and I may not give it to her until this evening!   Then we went to Outback for our Christmas party.  As far as Christmas parties go it wasn't bad.   I think I figured out another reason I don't like them.  With all the noise and the fact I don't hear well anyway I can't hear what is being said more than 1/2 the time.  Leaves me setting there eating.  Which I did way to much of!  The onion and bread were really good.   They brought some kind of broiled shrimp out too. It stank like dead fish.   I wasn't even the only one that thought that.  :)  Some of them ate them and said they were good.  I didn't want anything to do with them!   We even made it home early, by 9:30.  

My grand baby had been fussy all day.  We think he is teething.  I felt bad leaving the kids with son and dil since dil was feeling tired from having a fussy baby.  But, he finally ate well after we left and took a good nap then ate then napped.  When we got home he was back to his normal happy self.   He really is one of the happiest babies I know.  I hope today he is back to his happy self. 

I love Church!  Today I am taking milk to share, and the rapadura order that came in this week.  I split it for everyone.  I will pick up some local honey while at church.  How many can say that they get that personal at church?   I can honestly say I hate missing church, not just because of "church" but the fellowship.   We are truly blessed! 

I guess I better start my day.  I have a lot to do before Church time.  All have a beautifully blessed day!
