At least I think it is Sat.  With Dh home since Wed. the days have ran together. 

How was every one's turkey day?  Ours was great! only 11 extras so that means way way to much food left over.  God did provide an outside frig for us.  It has been just above freezing every since so stuff is set outside in the BBQ pit.  I froze about 1/2 the pies last night.  We can thaw them and have them for Church or special occasions throughout the year.  I am thinking turkey soup today.  The weather is just supposed to get worse!   I had wanted to make turkey pot pie, but am out of frozen veggies.  I have corn and green beans but no just mixed veggies.  I may use some of the baby carrots I have and make it anyway.  It won't be the same but... oh well.

Our weather is supposed to get yucky.  It started raining about 5:30 this morning.  Temps are hovering above freezing for now.  The rain seems to have stopped for now.  Later today they say snow.  Just a 70% chance.   Have I mentioned I don't LIKE snow?   Snow is COLD!   It really isn't that I don't like snow, I don't like what snow does to the livestock.   Yesterday morning I had 10 new still wet baby goats when I checked goats.  I only brought one to the house.  If it had been snowing I would have lost several if not all of them.   I haven't checked goats yet today.  It is just now getting daylight.

My cold that I held at bay until after Thanksgiving was yucky yesterday.  I didn't do much I didn't have to.  I took a nap and then went to bed right after kids went to bed.  I "think" I feel better today.  I haven't been awake long enough to tell yet.  I am praying that the worst is over and life can get back to normal, what ever normal is. 

I found a pumpkin bread pudding recipe I am thinking about trying for church tomorrow.  It is supposed to be done in the crock pot. I'm not sure I have enough time to do it before we leave for church.   Maybe if I have everything ready.  I may just cook it in the oven.  That is IF we even go to church.  If we get the accumulations of 6 inches they say we might I have no desire to be on the road. 

Guess it is time to find warm clothes and start my day.  All have a blessed day and leave a commit if you stop by.  It is fun knowing I'm not talking to my self ALL the time.
