• Tuesday, November 20, 2007 - Procrastination vs Lack of Energy

I'm setting here trying to get the motivation to get started today.  I look at my to do list today:

Do Ahead! changed to SHOULD do ahead

Biscuits some done, not enough  everytime I make some they eat it all!  I am making and freezing

Cornbread some done not enough

Pie crust LOL I do have the flour ground and in the freezer

Monday  can I change this to Tue?

Cranberry sauce in frig

Skim Cream

Tuesday

Crumble bread

Thaw Turkey

Thaw Ham

Chop onions

Chop celery  DONE!  Well at least part is done!

Boil eggs

Cook pumpkins  DONE!!!!

Now when you look at that list it doesn't seem to big right?  Add checking the 300 goats and bottling the 20-30 bottle babies, and milking 2 cows to that.  All done with a hurt back.

Last night I realized I hadn't ask God to help my back. I am right there storming heaven for others, but ask for prayer for me?  Ask God for a personal request?   Hummm I fall very short in this area.  I had to first ask forgiveness for not coming to Him with my hurt.  Then I ask Him to help my back.  My back is MUCH better this morning.

So am I procrastinating or just suffering from lack of energy?   Sun isn't up but it IS daylight so off I go to start the have to chores outside.

How is everyone else's Thanksgiving preparations going?  Stop by and share your story.  Maybe it will motivate me!

About Me

Just want to share the joys and tears of living in the country with others that understand them both. I am mom to 5 children. Two biological and three adopted. We are praying for one more adopted soon. We live 40 miles from town on 117 acres. My days are full of homeschooling children and dealing with livestock. Life is never dull or boring or "normal" what ever normal is. I ramble on here often, some times more than once a day as this is my main form of socialization with adults during the day. Hope to make some new friends here.
