• Sunday, November 4, 2007 - Sunday Morning

I am going to have tired kids on my hands today.  They didn't come in from hunting until almost 10.  At least with the time change they will get to sleep a little more.  They had a blast hunting.  They saw rabbits, older ds almost caught a burrowing owl with his hat.  Don't ask me how.... I don't want to know!   Then they really got something.  As they were coming back to the house the heard a funny sound.  Believe it or not they found a rattlesnake!   This was a cold snake.  Kids had jackets on it was in the lower 60-50s.  W. is taking the rattles home.   I am glad they got it since he was probably planning on spending his winter in MY barn!  He was right out side the barn.

Last night as I was going to sleep I was asking God to show us direction.  I KNOW He showed me something about W. being here, but all I remember is a peace this morning.  I so wanted to remember and write the details down.   Then in my quite time this morning I got it was not our decision, but W's.  I just continue to trust God here and know He will make it happen if it is His will.  He blessed us with an awesome weekend.  I am going to wake W. up before the others so we can have a few minutes to chat without little helpers.

Everyone have a blessed day!

About Me

Just want to share the joys and tears of living in the country with others that understand them both. I am mom to 5 children. Two biological and three adopted. We are praying for one more adopted soon. We live 40 miles from town on 117 acres. My days are full of homeschooling children and dealing with livestock. Life is never dull or boring or "normal" what ever normal is. I ramble on here often, some times more than once a day as this is my main form of socialization with adults during the day. Hope to make some new friends here.
