• Friday, November 2, 2007 - Late Night Update
Late night update. Things are going great. Case worker said it was a wonderful flight. She did great. She wasn't sure why it was so good. I laughed and told her because I had her and it so covered in prayer! She said to tell everyone Thank You!
Visit is going great! I have a young man that I finally ask if he is always this nice? He said most of the time, but he could get mad and gave an example. :) His mad wasn't any worse than "normal" kid mad. He seems taken in by the animals. I have pictures of him being mobbed by the bottle babies. He and MN argue and pick already. He keeps threatening to toss her in the pool. She keeps daring. I suggested that he wait until it warms up tomorrow. I shook my head once as we were coming in from chores. They were arguing over who was going to pull the cart. Both of them wanted too. Cart got to the house so they worked it out.
He said this was going to be the best 2 days of his life. We were heading out to the barn to do chores. :) Several times he has said something about how much he has learned since he has been here. He ask intelligent questions and I answer. He is bright and curious. He is also failing in PS. Tonight he was asking lots of questions about how we do school. I showed him the kids SOS. He seemed interested.
I am still just asking God to guide this. I want this weekend to be special and fun for everyone. From there I want God's desire.
I thank everyone that is praying and ask that you continue to pray. Also pray that they get a late flight so he can come to Church with us.

About Me
Just want to share the joys and tears of living in the country with others that understand them both. I am mom to 5 children. Two biological and three adopted. We are praying for one more adopted soon. We live 40 miles from town on 117 acres. My days are full of homeschooling children and dealing with livestock. Life is never dull or boring or "normal" what ever normal is.
I ramble on here often, some times more than once a day as this is my main form of socialization with adults during the day. Hope to make some new friends here.
