Mouse in the House

Good morning, ladies! I'm going to start my first entry talking about the cute little mouse we find ourselves faced with in our home. This little guy was first spotted by my 3yo son at about 2am when we came downstairs for a potty break the other night. He saw it scurry and said "Mommy, there's a squirrel!!". I didn't get a good glimpse of it but knew that blur that ran by me was definitely too small to be a squirrel..:). The following day, however, I found myself eye-to-beedy-eye with this tiny grey fuzzy mouse while cleaning the kitchen. Trying to lure it into the plastic measuring cup using a trail of cheerios proved to be fruitless, as it sniffed around it but was obviously smart enough to know that wasn't where he wanted to go. I wanted to get a good picture of it, but it's been too fast for me and now we haven't seen it in at least a day. The kids keep saying "someone must have stepped on it", but I think we would know if that was the case!!! If I manage to get a picture of it I will definitely post it here, have a great day!

The mental picture of the trail of cherrios and the little plastic container and you on your knees , peeking to see if it's taking your bait......LOLOLOL!!!!

A friend of mine recently did this same thing--with cheese.....and 8 months pregnant.....on the floor trying to lure the mouse............HILARIOUS.
