Kids Say the Funniest Things...

So, my 3 year old little boy is cleaning up his room, putting his laundry in the basket, and he's singing as he marches around his room.  Remember the song... "God said it, I believe it. That's all that faith demands..."?  Well, here's what he was singing, very happily and confidently at the top of his lungs...

"God said it, I'm gonna eat it.  That's all that makes me mad..."

Ha! That's great! My son used to sing Victory In Jesus as "He socked me and bopped me" instead of "he sought me and bought me". And a few years later my niece would sing it as "He punched me to victory".

It makes me wonder sometimes about how great the faith of a child is. I mean, they can think we're worshipping God by talking about Him being so violent towards us, and yet they still just love HIm so much. It's amazing, really. ;)
