My Own Idea (for a change!)...

I had a great idea (I think) for my sweet 7 year old daughter.  She's been wanting to cook more and learn to make bread.  So she's been making biscuits, mac and cheese, and cookies.  So... I decided to start copying the recipes she uses over onto her own cards.  As she does more cooking, that collection will grow and when SHE is grown, she'll have a wonderful resource.  And that was my very own idea.  I'm a big copier of ideas, so it's nice to have my own once in a while!  :)

What a wonderful idea!!!!! It will be something she can take with her when she moves out on her own and she will have the memory of cooking and baking with mom to take with her through out her life.

Maybe you shoudl take some pictures of her baking with you to put on the back of some of the recipes as well!!!

God's Blessings,
Amy Jo

OH I really love this Idea....

What a treasure for your daughter...and perhaps she could also add a special picture or sticker to each of her recipe cards to make them special just for her!

Thanks for sharing, I may use this for my niece who comes for the summer...she will be 7 in June...she loves to be a "Girlie girl" at my house!

Blessings, Kelly
