Trying Something New Today

I'm trying something new today.  After I check email while my little ones sleep, I'm going to SHUT OFF the computer until they go down for naps.  I realize how much time is wasted when I just "run downstairs" to check email, or see if anyone responded to a group post.  It breaks up my rhythm and routine for the day.  Unfortunately, I also use it to look something up online for school, but while my self-discipline is so lacking lately, I also "just" check email, etc.  I also know it's not good for a computer to be shut down and turned on, but it's not good for my kids to have their mommy disappearing every hour or so to "just check something".  So off it goes.... see ya later!

I can understand this. I too, only check emails and do my internetting (LOL...is that a word??LOL) when my toddler is asleep early in the mornings, or during nap times. I stay off of it when hubby is home for more family time.
