Linda at Our Little House in Town tagged me for this one. Thanks, Linda!
At the end of the post, the player then tags 6 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know they’ve been tagged and asking them to read your blog. Let the person who tagged you know when you’ve posted your answer. a) What was I doing 10 years ago? Waitressing! And I was awful at it. It was all I could do to get the right food to the right table before the day ended. Someone joked that maybe a time management course could have helped. Anyway, it was a transitional time and I was not doing too much else but saving money. b) What are 5 things on my to-do list for today: Well, this is all terribly glamorous, but I need to transplant some pepper seedlings into bigger pots, purchase some more potting soil (perhaps with a coupon that will expire in a few days), water the garden, fill up the bird feeders, and start menu planning for the next two weeks. That's after I get done work at the library. Almonds, popcorn, fruit, granola. d) Things I would do if I were a billionaire: It would be with great pleasure that I would write substantial checks to some of the ministries and organizations that my husband and I support. Christian Aid Ministries and Mennonite Disaster Service would probably make out quite well. For myself, I would really enjoy setting up some sort of animal sanctuary for discarded cats and dogs so they could be cared for by compassionate people who care about God's creation. e) Places I have lived: Near a dairy farm that smelled awful. In a small, lakeside house, that was not heated adequately and so bitterly cold in the winter that I used to get dressed under the covers in my bed. But in the summer, I would swim across the lake. In a tiny apartment located next to the busy exit of a major interstate highway! (I didn't sleep that year.) Near an abandoned orchard and some woods I loved to play in as a child. In an old farmhouse with no running water and an outhouse.
