I am assuming that you mean when making homemade laundry soap? Yes, you can use Zote, homemade soap, or even bars of Ivory soap (I never have, but have heard of some who do). Hope that helps! Amy

I've not seen Fels in the store so I use Zote. It's a beautiful hot pink color and smells great.

I've used Ivory soap or zote with good results, but now I'm using unscented homemade soap
