And it's about three weeks late for southern NH!  No complaints, though.  Our furnace ran for the first time just this morning!  It was just 32 when I got up at 7am.

Seems like the ol' homestead has been quiet lately.  I don't see many posts from my friends, and have even seen some leave.    Oh well I'll keep plugging away at it, I enjoy it.

I have a large flock of Juncos right outside the window this morning.  I've also got some hitting the feeders, which are all but empty as they've been all summer, so it's time to get some seed!  I love watching the birds come.  The Swainson's Thrushes were here all week and there were at least three of them.  That was a treat.
