Wow, I see the people who have nothing better to do than invade blog space have been busy all night.  Nothing like popping in only to see a bunch of junk under the "Recent Entries" scroll...

Anyway, I am up to my ears in pickles!  Pickles, pickles and more pickles.  I hope they turn out yummy after all this!!  My few little vines are producing like crazy and a friend gave me 4 enormous cukes the other day.  Too much for us so I gave two away to my MIL and then decided to process another into pickle slices.  The ones from my garden are all whole cukes in mini sizes, so we'll see how the slices come out.  I made my first-of-the-season apple pie the other day!  Boy was that gooood!  Time for another real soon!

Today I'm busy baking again for the farmer's market tomorrow morning.  Typcial New England, last Saturday was in the 60s and so windy that I nearly lost my canopy several times.  Quite chilly and fall-like.  Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and in the low 90s!!!  Crazy.  I'll take a hot market day over a windy one, though.  My canopy provides shade and at least my stuff won't be blowing off the table!  You get more people out on a warm day, too, so business is better.
