Does anyone remember that old song, by the way??  One of the weirder ones, to be sure!!

Anyway, life continues on here in its sometimes-blissful state of "I have no idea what's going on!"  My dad arrives here in two days for a long weekend, and one of the major reasons for the trip is to sit down with hubby and me to discuss the house and our next move (literally).  I for one can't wait, as we've been tossing around an idea that I won't put to paper or screen yet, until it's been confirmed.

The thing that makes me go "Hmm..." is that last week I went to the camp's web site (the camp organization, that is, where we put up our profile/resume to find a job) and couldn't find our info.  The user ID we'd been using since 2000 wasn't being accepted when I tried to sign in.  Finally I e-mailed them with all our info, and the response I got back was that our info wasn't found anywhere in their system!!  The guy could not for the life of him figure out why we just disappeared like that.  He was very apologetic and offered us some nice extras when/if we do sign up again, but that just got my brain churning and I couldn't help but say "Lord, is that You??"  I mean we've been in that database for over 7 years, and just like that for no explicable reason, we're not!  Since the plans we're considering right now don't involve going to a camp after all, I just really wonder about that!
