I just got tagged by tioga12 from East Point Farms blog.  It looks like fun so I'll give it a go. (and yes, would someone please explain why we can't insert a paragraph break??...it all looks so run together!).

The rules are simple:
Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

1) I set the coffee maker to go off every morning at 6:30!  Gotta have it ready and waiting when I stumble out of bed.

2) I am a Disney World fanatic.  My van has Disney-related vanity plates and a Mickey-head antenna topper.  Can't wait for that next trip!

3) I love to read and my favorite author is James Michener.  Historical fiction is my favorite genre.

4) I once had a small piece published in "Country" magazine.  It was about being in Denali Nat'l Park in Alaska with my husband, and while climbing a ridge two caribou trotted right by us - it was like being the only two people in the world!

5) I collect old-fashioned nut choppers.  The kind that has a rectangular top with little "teeth" that you crank with a handle, and the pieces fall down into a glass jar.

6) I can't go to bed if there are dirty dishes sitting in the sink....

7) If I won Powerball (which would be difficult since I don't play! LOL!!) my dream would be to get an RV and just drive around this great country.  I'm particularly interested in the old roads that were once the highlight of a road trip (the old Route 66, for example).

8) And finally, I have hiked to the summit of Mt. Washington, highest peak in the northeast and part of the Presidential Range in New Hampshire's White Mountains.
