Yikes, it was cold!   -7 at 6am.  We put a small electric heater in the living room to get the furnace to stop running for a while!!  Have to finish paying off the last drop of propane before they'll bring more so we've to make it last.  Not easy in these temps.  Even now with the sun fully out it's only 5 above!

Trees are still beautiful covered in ice, though.  It sparkles and you can see all the colors of the rainbow as they move gently.  Awesome how something that can cause such destruction can still have so much beauty.  My in-laws are still without power.  Hope it gets back on soon so their pipes don't freeze.  They've been hanging out and sleeping in the living room with the fireplace going full-tilt.
