So here is the final result of my quilting efforts.  The little piece in the middle was some needlework that my DH's grandmother did.  I incorporated it into a quilt panel.  This piece wanted to be a pillow, but I was going for a wall hanging.  The result is a wall hanging that should be a pillow!  I don't know how to finish off a pillow's edge, is the thing.  At any rate, I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out.
