I love the Random Blogs feature on this blog site!  Everytime I click through those, I find something neat and interesting (today, for example, I found "free blinkies" and thus the cat blinkie under my avatar!).  Too cute.  I've found many of my "friends" that way, too.  There's some neat stuff out there so if you've never randomly browsed the blogs here, give it a try!

We all survived yesterday's cold snap.  It got briefly to 19 yesterday afternoon but otherwise hovered at 15 all day, with a good strong north wind.  There was a dusting of snow when we got up!  Now it's gone.    Today was well up into the 30s, and the next several days are to be upper 40s.  Will it, oh will it snow in time for Christmas?!

Still cross-stitching.  Still looking in disbelief at the end of a long evening of doing so and wondering what I did all night!  Boy this is taking a while.  Progress is sloowww.

Tomorrow is my youngest's 5th birthday!  Just made his cake and icing.  I'm still waiting for him to decide what design he wants on it:  Spiderman or a Bionicle mask.
