whew..........

Yesterday was REALLY nice! The weather was great and church was great and the birthday celebration was great and the egg hunt was great. I even got my quilt exchanged for the right size, found super nice sheets (on clearance) to match and we got home about 7. But thing got rough then. Mat was soooooooo tired from everything that he just totally melted down. I was glad to put him to bed at 8:15. Then he was mad cuz he had to go to bed early. Joey fell asleep at 6 on the way home and slept until after 8 this morning!!!!! But he's got a cold and we were outside from 11:30-5:30.

Joey is laying low today so hopefully he's on the mend soon. I'd like him all better by the time we travel this weekend.

Oh yes, the dinner was great on Saturday night! Leftover pizza for lunch today! I did wind up making bread sticks w/the leftover herbed pizza dough and they were quite tasty. I have some dipping oils and had a bit of leftover pizza sauce to dip in. But I think everyone had a nice time and the kids got to see the horse. She's apparently cantankerous in her last month of pg. But I told DH I wouldn't want ppl pawing all over me w/less than a month to go either!LOL

And as if I'm not busy enuf, we are going to the zoo the 23rd. But I LOVE LOVE LOVE zoos. It's just that we'll be gone all this weekend at the ILs, the 22nd I have another one of those team mtgs and last time I was gone from 6:45-6:30 and then the zoo the next day adn then I leave on Thursday for the retreat and get back late Sunday night. And sleep is usually deprived at the retreats.

May's not looking too bad, but June and July are going to stink!LOL Church camp, vacation, county fairs, VBS, swim lessons, etc. We aren't doing 4H this year, which will help. Mat's always been in mini-4H, which wasn't much, but he was graduating to regular 4H and I wans't looking forward to all that, but DH did all the running. The really nice thing is that baseball ends the 3rd week of June so that will be over before all this mayhem starts!LOL

And my last load is in the washer and the Joey's watching the tube and Mat's doing who knows what. He's been making stuff all morning.......
