![]() Race DayI don't like the race and have nothign to do w/it, but since I live in IN, I have to deal with it!LOL Church was great. Our pastor is really good about incorporating things like Memorial Day into the service. He encouraged us to share a memory of someone that we knew who died in war and then some shared w/the entire congregation. Then to Taco Bell and then back to my sister's.;) I almost counted yesterday as a school day for kicks. Mat ate a mealworm, sucked honey off of a honeycomb and then chewed the comb (after checking on the bees--we all did that, my BIL has bees), climbed trees, played w/his slingshot, drove the gocart (into an empty gas tank cuz he wasn't paying attn, but it was a good reality check for him and I said that it was MUCH better that he did that and not a vehicle into a tree!) and worked in my sister's garden. He also helped to dig the patio area for w/DH and BIL (DH was on a tractor--don't think he did anything hard!LOL). This was where he found the mealworm to eat..... BIL and Mat were in the process of doing some other dirt activity when Dh and I announced that it was time to leave. Joey and I helped carry and lay patio pavers. Oh, we also played bocci ball and croquet. We dont' usually 'work' on Sundays, but we rarely get a chance to help them and it needed to be done. They are trying to get a bunch of stuff done before Keylee's party mid-June.
Personally, I'm not doing squat today. I did my yardwork and gardening on Saturday. Well minus setting up some walls of water last night. I didn't have enuf milk jugs to protect my tomatoes from whatever eats them so Dama gave me a what they weren't using. Mat just came in and said that 2 of them fell. Not a surprize. I was FREEZING while setting them up last night and my fingers weren't working all that well. Oh I take that back, I'm trying to get 2 loads of laundry on and off hte line before this rain comes in. Then I"m not doing squat!LOL But now that I'm chilling, I did 2 loads of laundry adn need to get the electric blanket on the line to dry. I also made 'new' shorts. Joey's estatic over his. Who knew that hemmed cut off jeans would be that exciting?LOL Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 198 of 1866 } { Next Page } |
