![]() great day!My college friend that we had lunch w/today (in my parent's woods--totally cost cutting!LOL) has a great pyrnees from a rescue shelter. THey have put SO MUCH $$$$ into that dog! It's on doggie prozac and they consult w/a pet therapist, etc. It really does have seperation issues and I just think WOW! But she asked if they could bring it today (if not, they would have to get the neighbor boy to stay w/it) so I had ot make sure that my sister and parents could lock up their 3 (I knew that dad could pen up his stupid dog, but I wasn't sure about my sister). So it all worked out well. Until their dog spotted the guy across the field mowing. She just got done saying that Shasta should sleep well tonight and then it took off and her DH took off after her. OH MY WORD! It took forever to get the dog stopped and I told her that I bet her DH slept well tonight, too!ROTFL!!!!! But it was really good for the dog. FTR, her dog is great w/other dogs and I *think* it would've been fine to have the other 3 dogs there, but I just couldnt' risk anything happening to Shasta, yk? But lunch was great, cool and super windy, but great. W/the swingset and fire pit and stuff (we also scoped out the new bee hive my BIL set up--Mat played w/a drone alot on saturday adn I guess it was then rejected from the hive! OOPS!) so we chatted for about 4 hours! It was the perfect family place for something like that. Then home and the boys bathed (they were BEYOND filthy--Joey looked like he'd been eating ashes! Oh wait, HE DID!LOL) and now time to relax before bed...... Backign up, (our pastor did his sermon backwards 2 weeks ago and it was funny--very effective, too!) I think the ENTIRE service was tailored for me this morning! WOW! It was GREAT! It was about risk taking in regards to serving. About how if you FOLLOW God and TAKE the risk, you will be blessed. Even the pastoral prayer was AMAZING! It was very comforting in light of our situation. Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 157 of 1817 } { Next Page } |
