What gives ANYONE the right to say to my son, "your mom is ready to kick your @ss!!!!!!!!!!?????????

We were in TSC nad I said to JOEY (nicely!LOL), "C'mon. We need to get going." THis man turns around to Mat (while ever so kindly holding the door open) and says that!!!!!!!!!!! The man looked at me and laughed. I attempted a smile. He meant no harm by it and I didn't see the point when I was pretty sure that it was not going to change his thoughts on the issue. Mat just looked at me like, what do I do mom? Geesh.

One person said something to Aleksei when she was much smaller about her noise level. I looked at the person and said What do you expect from a child who has acid reflux and is in pain. She couldn't have been more than 1 at the time and we were just lucky that she wasn't puking at that moment.

THAT is a great lesson!!
I love it when complete strangers give me material!!

I find that when the kids were younger and would 'stress me out' you could read it all over my face. This was a great lesson for the kids, that their disobedience is not only seen by THEIR actions, but it is seen in my facial expressions.
The 'inside, coming out'.
This was a great opportunity to show them that everyone can see disobedience, and it's not pretty!!

God love the guy. He's holding the door for a lady and swearin' like a sailor at the same time!! The only right this guy has to say what he said is the right to freedom of speech............unfortunately, he didn't select the best vocabulary!!!

Hope tomorrow is better!!

I did turn it into a lesson like you said! Mat tries really hard to be funny ALL THE TIME! So I asked him if that man thought he was being funny, yes.......did YOU think he was funny? No, I thought he was rude. OKEY DOKEY!
