is a BLUR! It was a blast and much needed, but WOWSERS! Joey and I left at 8:45, after I had exercised, and got to my sister's about 10. I got everything unloaded and went to the car wash!LOL The van should've gone thru twice, that's how dirty it was, but oh well. It was much cleaner. I finally got to my friend's house and she needed to exchange some pants for her gdd, so I got to look around a TJ Maxx. Pretty nice store, and I looked at shoes, but I still couldn't bring myself to pay that much for what I considered a 'fun' shoe. For nice shoes to wear everyday, yes I would pay $30, but not for fun!LOL And they had some cute ones! So then to Panera's...........oh that was nice. It was so good! I got half sandwich (turkey, bacon cheese or something like that!LOL) and greek salad. YUMMY! We talked for a LONG time there. It was just so good to hear her talk. Alot about her family and most I didn't know. She said she never felt comfy telling me in email, which is understandable. Then I suggestered Starbucks. It was 70 and sunny so we sat outside for another 1.5 hours and talked! I got back to my parents about 3.While there my brother called and wanted to go out to eat. I told him I needed to check w/DH first to see what was going on. But I wanted to go look at Linens'n'Things for bedding. I just realized I was not goign to get that quilt made anytime soon. Especially w/summer coming up. So, for $50, I found a comforter, shams, bed skirt, and two SETS of sheets. It's the colors I wanted, sort of. They had a quilt I really wanted but it was one of those full/queens and DH looked at it on the bed and asked if it was a throw!ROTFL!!!!!!!!!!! So it got packaged up. They didn't have a king, but I loved it so that I'm going to ask if they have any in the back or if they will be getting more. It was $30 for the quilt and shams. I'm sure king is a bit more, but I really relaly like it. Plus I want a QUILT and not a comforter. But as my mom said, for $50, if it lasts me 2-3 years, then it was worth it. And if I can't find something else, then it definitely bought me more time to make the quilt. I'm going to look for a duvet cover for the quilt that I'm 'retiring' since it's shredded on top to keep in the basement.

And since that went so well, I found a 6x9 rug for the basement in between the couch adn tv and a 2x6 rug for in front of the washer and dryer. We have this nasty old free piece that we got from friend's who ripped it out of their house, but I'd love to get rid of it. I mentioned to Dh about going to this carpet store and looking at a remnant. I'd love to get a 15x20 for $150, but I know I"m dreaming. I just want to be able to walk down there barefoot. I hate shoes. But I don't like cement either!LOL

Soooooooooo, I got back from shopping and Dh said he didn't care waht I did so we stayed and ate w/my family and Mat stayed the 2nd night and Joey and I got home at 7:30. Good thing I had done all that work the day before! I was DEAD last night! I had to clean up the ktichen (from DH's supper), checked out the bedding and the rugs. Plus I vacuumed hte basement last night.
