quiet day

Ok, today is quiet. I've dusted and as soon as Mat wakes up, I'll clean the bathrooms.  I need to make granola bars and start the celery/potato/cheese/ham soup. Mat has a game at 6:45 and that will wrap up our day. Joey woke up w/a cold this am and Mat has been SUPER whiny. Serioulsy, I guess I mentioned snipe hunting to him forever ago and he remembered and was actually CRYING yesterday cuz we wouldn't take him! :shock:  ANd Dh had no idea what it was. So I explained it to DH. He looked at me like I was nuts. I said IT"S LIKE COWTIPPING nad he had no idea what THAT was. I told him that he needed to come out from under his rock more often. Sheesh, I can understand not knowing snipe hunting, but he GREW UP ON A FARM! I thought they ALL knew what cowtipping was! At any rate, I hope that Mat's not getting sick as well.

This does mean that i"ll be able to read The Forbidden by Lewis today tho. ;)

I can't wait to read that book! I am blogging again, after a long time off. Different name now though. I was very busy getting my business going and trying to get this farm working again. I will continue to check your blog now that I am blogging again.
