Oil of Oregano--panacea?

06:06, 2006-Apr-5 .. 0 comments .. Link

I got this from a friend: http://www.iherb.com/oreganooil1.html

Here's a link to the kind that we buy. This is UNDILUTED, so you have to
mix it with extra virgin olive oil. We use 1 oz oregano oil to 12 oz of
olive oil. Some people dilute it much more than this, but this is the mix
that I like. This is a really good price for it, too. I was paying $22 a
bottle somewhere else till I realized that iherb carried it.

I would also recommend the book "The Cure is in the Cupboard" . It tells
all about oil of oregano. You will be totally amazed at all that it's good
for!!!!! A few things we've used it for are:

1. Taken internally for systematic yeast.

2. BROWN RECLUSE SPIDER BITES!! I've used it on kids and
animals both for these bites!

3. Bursitis (spell??) I have that in my shoulder..... or rather I HAD it. Any time it acted up, I would rub the oil on it, and it would make the pain go away.

4. My DD has bad cartridge in her knee, and we used to rub it on there when it bothered her.

5. ACNE! It gets rid of acne. Trust me on this one!

6. It gets rid of germs in the air. We dilute some with water instead of olive oil. Just a little bit of oregano in a spray bottle of water, and spray it in the air to kill germs.
This is also what I wash my face with, and spray countertops with.

7. Put it in food, and it will kill any bacteria that might be hiding there!!

8. My friend that had cancer last year had vaginal yeast infections all the
time. She made suppositories with oregano oil. Don't ask me how, though.
I didn't ask for details. It's sounded way too painful for me.

9. Put on sores to stop or prevention!

10. Internally for allergies and asthma.
Like I said, my friend has been off of meds for a few years now! Anyway,
I'm sure there are more things that we've used it for that I can't think of
right off hand. The book tells them all, though.

Basically, it's an antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and anti-venom, with TONS
of uses! We always keep some in the house now. We also always take it with
us in our first aid box when we go camping or fishing.
