dialup & big babies

SpinningGma~I do loathe this dial up and we can get high speed thru my cell phone for $60. And we were fully planning on doing that because by the time we dropped our ISP and our land line, it would've only been about $10 more. BUTTTTTTTTTTTTT my parents gave Mat a phone for Christmas!!!!! My dad was a phone man and it was a big deal to him. We always had phones in our rooms growing up. My brother and I shared a wall and we used to tap on the wall as the cue to pick up the phone and talk on it!LOL  But that shot our plan so we are still on dial up. I don't just want to add a $60/mo bill for kicks................

Shannon,

You DESERVED to have her 3 weeks later!LOL

Cell phone

I had considered donig the cell phone thing, but MY cell phone service still charges minutes, and unless you have unlimited minutes, it adds up quickly.

I lose my cell phone, often, and can't blame Norm!! It's me who loses it. I also lose my cordless land-line phone. Often I find one phone and call the other to figure out where I lost it!! Norm has gotten used to hearing a phone ring and me not answering it, cause I'm digging in piles of paper looking!!

Dh said online time doesn't count toward your minutes--its just a service you use thru your cell phone. Believe me that's the 1st thing I asked!LOL You just plug something in the back of your computer and doesn't requir the phone at all (thus it can stay lost!LOL). But we couldn't even get the part locally. Dh was going to have to order thru the Indy office....
