![]() schedulesSomeone recently asked how I do things and if I had a schedule/routine. Well yes and no!LOL I do have a schedule, but I have to keep things flexible because of our lifestyle. Here is what an IDEAL week looks like: Monday: Laundry (sheets/towels/clothing) Tuesday: nothing Wednesday: dusting and bathrooms Thursday: mopping and vacuuming Friday: laundry (clothes and rugs or other miscellaneous items) Now I do have a 'nothing' day in there and that provides the flexbility. I really prefer to clean on Thursday and Friday so sometimes I do that. But if I'm going to be gone all day on Wednesday, then I know I need to find another day to dust and clean the bathrooms. Also by breaking all of this up, it's easier ot find smaller chunks of time to actually accomplish them. Yes, I have cleaned the entire house and done all the laundry in one day, but I"m very tired and cranky by the end of the day. So this is what works FOR US. Please bear in mind that I am apparently what some call BO (I'm sure that I smell, but here it stands for born organized). Time management is a forte for me. IE, on Thursday mornings, I start a load of laundry and bring up the mop, I sweep and mop myself into the basement, where I work out for 30 min. By then the 1st load of laundry (in the basement) is done so I swap and put the kitchen chairs back and vacuum. By the time Joey's done w/school and bfast is cleaned up, load 2 is usually done. So really doing laundry on the same day taht I do the floors is not a big deal (for me). Leave a Comment { Last Page } { Page 197 of 1738 } { Next Page } |
