Valentine's day!

We went to the Valentine Day dinner at our church on Saturday night. Almost ALL of the entertainment (even the paid ones!) CANCELLED at the last minute! They found some great stuff tho! We had to sing some rounds, which was a hoot. The boys know Bicycle Built for Two thanks to Veggie Tales so Joey was BELTING that out. Part of the entertainment was a man who actually does Christian entertaining and he was singing songs that he's written and telling jokes. One of them I had not heard and I was rolling. 3 couples were sitting at a table and the 1st DH says to his wife, Please pass me the sugar, sugar. The 2nd DH says to his wife, Please pass me the honey, honey. The 3rd DH says very lovingly to his wife, Please pass me the tea,............bag!ROTFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So it was a semi late night from that. I did go to the crop earlier, but not w/o flack from DH. We really have not had a very good week!LOL I'm going to try ot make this week better (I realize that starting it off w/a meal he doesn't like may not seem like a move int he right direction,b ut I tell him taht I"m just concerned about his health adn want him to live a long time!). So after some irritation on both our parts, he took the boys to town to buy the plug for the vacuum that I said we needed and he didn't want to buy.........LOL And I went to teh crop. I got 250+ pics developed and spent too long sorting those, but managed to get a few pages done.

Sunday was busy as usual. Church and then I met my college roommate and another college friend for lunch. Raced back to get Dh and the boys and then off to kid's club. We were a little bit late cuz we had to stop for gas, got held up by a train and I had to get out of those boots by that point. I wasn't going to go, but I realized that I needed to buy the stuff for the chili soup that I am responsible for. It's our Sunday School class' turn to host the monthly fund raiser meal. I'm making a double batch of chili (serves 80) and I wanted to get teh 20lbs of ground beef browned this week. The meal is next WEd and I have MOMS and HS library those days and i"m pretty sure that I"m going ot have to miss library at this point. I'm going to see if my mom will watch the boys while I get my chili done (this way I can jsut show up at hte church adn dump and heat). We have an elderly lady in our class who voluteered to make a batch and we aren't sure how that's going to play out. Plus we have to chop and get the toppings and stuff done. So I think I need to be there about 4??? So we bought the stuff and picked up the boys and came home.

Today I have managed to work out, put away last week's laundry and have the 3rd (of 5) load in the wash now. We need to leave at 12:30 for roller skating and I'm going to take the boys to Walmart to pick out Daddy's Vday gift and I need to get some super smelly stuff for my anatomy class on Friday. Last Friday we did the nervous system focusing on optics. This week we are doing the nervous system and focusing on the other senses.
