almost ready!

I kept looking at my bfast on the counter and finally gave up and came up here. I'm pretty sure Mat's getting a cold. Yesterday morning he said he throat hurt and then he coughed a couple of times on the phone last night. So I packed some stuff for that.

Exciting for them is the power going out yesterday. I don't know if it's back onyet or not. That's our lodging for tonight!LOL Wouldn't 13 of us there w/no power be fun?ROTFL!!!

Turns out it's not a 12 passenger van, but a 15! The extra room will be nice and hopefully it doesn't hurt the mileage too much. My dad went ahead and got liability and I wished he'd have checked w/his ins guy. I'm pretty sure that is not needed if you carry regular ins. It was $200 and dad was NOT happy. So now, he and mom are footing the rental bill and my siste rand I are splitting gas nad paying their meals. I told my sister to start packing meals!ROTFL!!!!!!!!! (we won't be eating that many meals out) I'll find out later what time we leave. We have a target time right now and DH said that he'd try to meet me at my parents house to send us off. Oh and it would've been $10/day to add BIL to drive. He was supposed ot drive. My sister said that he would go NUTS if he had to ride while my parents drove! She said that they were willing to pay the $$ for him to be added............

And they booked 2 rooms at the hotel so we are ALL staying there. And arguing over who has to sleep w/whom!ROTFL!!!!!!!!! Do you want snoring, gas or noisy younger ones?ROTFL! BUt there is an indoor pool and that's the silver lining. Plus being able to shower.......

SO I've worked out and the 2nd load is in the wash. Once laundry is done, I'll do a final pack. I need to shower and gather hte trash and water the plant. I think that's it other than loading.

It's a - windchill here, too. Gonna be fun, I tell ya! FUN!ROTFL!
