It's definite!

Yup, STREP! I have NEVER had strep in my 37 years!!!!! Of course he decides to scare me first by asking about mono......PLEASE PLEASE LET IT BE STREP!ROTFL! So I just got back from town w/my amoxicillin.......and he said that won't cut the sore throat so I had to choke down a piece of bread in order to take the ibuprofen. Yesterday I had 4 pieces of bread (3 w/coconut oil) and today I've had 2 pieces of bread (1 w/coconut oil). So I"m stopping the coconut oil cuz I don't know how it will react w/the Abx and I"m not wasting anyone's time. He also said only a 10% chance of the boys getting it. I thought that sounded low, but.......

And I think the only thing that saved me a new patient fee was showing up w/my 5/05 statement from his office. I guess it just peeves me that they are going to charge me MORE cuz I don't see the doc often!?!?!?!?

So now I am praying that the boys don't have/get it and pass it on to my family when they stay there this weekend. Cuz we are leaving the 30th for Mo.

What part of Missouri are you heading to. I live in Northeastern.

I have never had strep throat but I have had Mono. I had it for about 8 monthes and believe me if you have it you'll know it. The doctor said " I was over doing it and that is what caused it and I will always have it" Yuck! How can you ever over do it I am a mom?

I hope you feel better take care of yourself and get lots of rest!
