Wonderful Wednesday!

Today was pretty good here. I got out the door on time and managed to remember everything. About a mile down the road, I remembered that I'm supposed to pick up one of hte babysitters (permanent arrangement, but the 1st time I've done it)! So I call the mom who found her and made sure I was to pick her up and asked her name!LOL I did at least remember her address (how is beyond me!LOL). So I dump the boys off and all my MOMS stuff and head over to get her. We get back and get business done and the refreshement lady ROCKED! Fruit salad, brownies, popcorn and 2 kinds of juice! Another lady brought in the chocolate chex mix. I managed to stay out of the brownies and asked on the second helping of fruit salad if it was just heavy sryup. NOPE! She melted marshmallows into pineapple juice! Oh well, it had fruit in it, right?LOL We watched a movie, or rather part of it. At 10 after, I realized the movie was NOT going to end anytime soon (I had not heard of it or seen it--EverAfter--cute movie!) so I found the leader and we decided to shut it off and watch the last 15 min or so the next time. One lady had already left cuz of time and I wasn't sure about the babysitter's commitments and felt awful cuz it was this one lady's first time! We can't afford to loose anymore sitters! She was fine w/it and I got her home and decided to grab the yogurt and half&half from the grocery. While there, I realized Mat was being a pill and that we were just going to eat at the mexican place next door. Mat didn't want anything and ate Joey and I's rice, but it was still $13 w/tip! It was good tho. Not for my waistline however...... Then to Walmart and back to library. I stocked up on my book supply since I don't plan on leaving hte house but Sundays for the next couple of weeks. I'll have to run in the 28th or so to return books and get books on tape for our trip.

That will be nice. I mean I literally have NO COMMITMENTS except on Sundays! I do plan on going to the beauty college this Saturday, but that's no biggie.

Then home to unload and start supper. I've got a sausage barley soup type thing going. I've never used barley before and I'm not sure. I got a 'recipe' from a lady online and she said that she only boiled for 1 hour, but the barley bag talked about boiling for an hour and then simmering for 1.5 hours! I'm not looking forward to hard barley! I did find mini french baguettes on clearance for .80 for a huge bag so I grabbed those to go w/this. And w/the veggie soup that we'll have tomorrow night!LOL I'm pretty sure that I"ll be eating this barley soup myself!LOL I did put in carrots, celery, chicken brother, italian diced tomatos and tomato juice so it's pretty healthy.;)

when you can just stay in and be at home. I love those days.. I love being at home getting everything done the night before or that morning and being able to catch up on mail and blogging or reading.. Have a great day.
