Recouping......

The past few days have been nice. We've not done much of anything, which has been GREAT!

I've managed to read a book a day for the past several days even! Today I did dust and cleaned the bathrooms. Well, partly. I need to finish those and pick up some more. We have a finance guy coming to the house tonight and I'd like for at least the great room to be tidy. I've put away lots already. I really hate that I wait for company to do this!

And I got the turkey out to thaw. I'm making turkey salad for supper. That way I can feed the boys before he comes (6:30) and then DH and I can eat after if need be.

Lastly, the phone rang this am. Nothing to scare a HSler more than to here your child say that a public school is on the phone! Turns out my neighbor's son was sick and they couldn't get ahold of her. I was ironing and in my workout clothes and didn't do a thing to my hair after I washed it (read here, CURLY AND UNRULY!) and the boys were in their PJs. But they finally got ahold of her so I didn't have to go pick him up. WHEW!LOL I would have if need be, but..........LOL
