![]() Happy Boxing Day! Ok, so I'm NOT Canadian.....LOLI wound up doing 4-5 loads of laundry yesterday adn mopping last night when everyone else was in bed. I didnt' want to on Christmas, but I knew that no one owuld appreciate me doing all that when they were up. We had another 4 loads today. Dh wanted the electric blanket washed and now it won't work. I may not have hte connections right tho. Looked pretty easy.....LOL I hope we didn't kill it. I read the directions before I washed it and DH didn't quite agree w/them!LOL We ran into town as well. DH needed to drop his work truck off (from where the deer ran into him) and that will be fixed while he's off work. And he bought his grill. After sales, cash, gift card and getting offered a scratch'n'dent, it set us back $33. Not to shabby for a $350 grill. It's not the one the salesman said it was, but it was the one that DH had had his eye on all along so it worked out well. I also returned some radio shack rechargeable batteries. It was the only ones like that that mom got me and I had to get a gift card since I didn't have the reciept. O hwell. Mat says he's feeling MUCH better. He crashed last night and claims to have woken up early. We didn't hear from him until 8:30ish. He wanted mashed potatoes for lunch so DH got him a large side from KFC (DH wanted BK). Mat ate them all! He said that he's feeling MUCH better now. I think he's got the start of a cold, but I'll take that over a stomach bug ANY day! So overall, today has been nice. It's above freezing here so DH is washing the van. I'm going to vacuum the inside of it. It's trashed since it was one of the 2 vehicles we used to drive and see the Walk Thru the Bible. Still have ham leftover for supper tonight.;) Mat's got yesterday's soup he didn't eat and there is some enchilada left as well. I'm really glad. For as much as I like to cook, I"m about 'cooked out' for right now. We also talked to pgSIL. We are to bring a salad Friday for their family Christmas. DH said we'd just go into the grocery taht am and buy a bag. Sounds good to me. I've got a mix of stuff to put on it herea nd I"ll take that. The cousins gifts are already bought and I picked thru the 50% off stuff and found some pillow boxes. It's perfect cuz they are FLAT (for easy packing) and will easily accomodate the gifts. I used them for candy this year, but I like these designs (and 50% off prices) better. I also got stationary (and matching addy labels) for the next 2 years as well. And a box of ornaments and blue garland beads for my tree. It's a mishmash and I'd LOVE to fund finishing out redoing it, but my tight side won't let me. So each year I buy a little and in a few years, I"ll have a matching tree!LOL I'm at least replacing the gold garland beads for blue (My tree is supposed to be blue).
