It's Christmas!!!!!!!!!

Joey was up sort of early and Mat was VERY cranky. He obviously did NOT feel good. AFter we opened gifts, he was begging to take a shower and go to bed. But after the shower he was in a much better mood so he stayed up. We opened gifts and that went fairly well. DH had Joey use empty food boxes (cracker and such) and combined w/Mat's mood, he was BAWLING thinking that he really got crackers! FINALLY on the 3rd box (bfast bars!LOL) we got him to open the box and see what they'd done. He apologized. Joey was ESTATIC about Spin City and the nerf tag game. Mat was so/so on his MP3 player, but it's OK now. Then we ate the swiss colony bfast set that my aunt sent. My dad ate his ham and we made both kinds of pancakes. So it was a big bfast. Good thing cuz it's 1 here and no one has mentioned lunch!ROTFL! Of course I held up the 1qt baggie of ham and told Dh taht was his lunch and supper.

I finally got Mat's MP3 player figured out. 1.5 cokes later my headache is subsiding. Joey dumped a glass of OJ all over. DH is cleaning that up. I did the initially clean up, but you know how sticky that stuff is.

And our boys are SO contented right now! They are having a blast w/Spin city! Mat's got his MP3 player going and JOeys's got on his Nerf tag vest and goggles!ROTFL! I was REALLY glad to see goggles w/those. I just think it's SO important to emphasize safety--even w/nerf guns.

The electricity kits ROCK! My paretns got Mat this huge RC car, but it's w/these snap circuits (which I have eyed for 2 years and they are $$$$ so we've not gotten them) so you can build and rebuild different types of cars! They got Joey the jr version that has 101 experiments. We got Mat a different type (cheaper!ROTFL!) electricity kit as well.

Personally, I got quite a bit. (My new sweatshirt is int he wash so it will be ready to wear if we go out tomorrow!LOL) The sweatshirt and a long sleeve Tshirt (college). My mom got the girls a box of 'stuff'. Not sure how much of it I like. She got me 14 rechargable AA nad two AAA and the charger. My old ones were the radio shack 15 minute and MAN did that spoil me! These new ones take SEVEN HOURS to charge!!!!!!!! I think they are a 'bigger' battery tho and hold the charge alot longer.  Oh and MONEY!LOL Mat got me a stinky candle!ROTFL! He didn't want to get me anything from the community Christmas party adn they made him. I know they thought he was being ungrateful, but he knew I wouldn't like anything there, which was fine. Joey got me HOT PINK breast cancer slippers!ROTFL! I'm going to see if my mom wants them. Joey got DH this HYSTERICAL hat! It's one of those 'caps' w/the band that flips down to cover the ears and back of neck. BUT it has a skier on it so JOey was SOOOOOOOOOO excited cuz DH has a nice SKI hat for skiing now. 1) DH does NOT wear hats EVER 2) DH does not ski!ROTFL!!!!!!!!! Mat got him clothes that he wanted. My SIL did get me a new blow dryer so the flame thrower is now GONE! And does that dryer have some kick! I used it and it rocks!

I also got a new exercise ball. I'm pretty sure hte elasticity is worn out of this one from 2 solid years of sitting on it.;) I wanted a step, but DH couldn't find one. I got a cuisinart saute pan. Some huge thing that's stainless steel. I'm tired of getting $$$$ teflon ones and ruining them in a year so I wanted to try stainless steel. It's got the 2nd handle so I don't break my wrists carrying it and a lid.;)

I got some other stuff too and I can't think of what it is. It was a great Christmas. Dh likes the shaver that he picked out and I gave to him!ROTL Too bad I can't get it registered. The site keeps timing out. Ironically it's a philips like Mat's MP3 player and it took me a long time to get that registered for the same reason.
