DH & I's shopping day! FUN!!!!!!!!!

OH MY WORD. Shop til you drop  took on a whole new meanign for me! Dh and I had a BLAST!  My parents came last night and just spent the night so we had a leisurely morning. Well I made waffles, eggs and oats, but other than that......LOL We got out the door at 9:15 and dropped off a gift and headed towards town. We went to our favorite toy store first and got all kinds of neat stuff! Mat's getting a bacteria farm and some electric thing. I'm hoping Dh will teach him some electricity basics. We also got the boys gifts from FIL there. You see, they gift wrap for free!ROTFL! We left them for gift wrapping and off to other stores. We got them a joint gift of a nerf tag game. We bought it at Walmart ($18.96)and I knew I'd seen it at Aldi for $27.99. I was pretty sure Walmart's box was smaller. So while I finished shopping in Aldi, I sent DH out to compare. Sure enuf, the 'guns' int eh Walmart box were smaller. And Aldi's were reduced to $20. So I made an exchange. Dh also got some clothes for himself and I desperately tried to find a black jumper to do the whole boot them w/that and the only one I could find that I liked was about $50. No thanks. So I'll try and scope that place out and see if I can grab it on clearance. It was a black turtleneck w/a houndstooth jumper. PERFECT w/black tights nad my black boots!

We ate out at Applebees. Another very rare treat. They gave our order to the couple next ot us. We all got the soup and salad lunch specials. It was kind of funny. And we had enuf gift card to leave a very nice tip.

Lastly, we stopped by horseman and dropped off his goodies. Then we came home and I worked my way thru the house. I had to get everythign put away and cleaned up for supper and we had to get all the stuff in the house w/o the boys seeing it. I realized that I could purge the meatballs and lots of organic whole wheat spinach spaghetti w/my parents there and it would be a super quick and easy supper so that's what we had.

Tomorrow will hopefully be beauty college day (I can't see them being busy adn DH said he can take Joey) and some laundry. Wed will be super hectic and then back to town on Thursday to see Santa and then home to get busy cleaning and cooking for the family invasion.
