Winter weather

Things aren't TOO bad around here (I personally wouldn't want to go out). But they specifically had the town that we attend church in on the news and it was about 6" of snow and ZERO visibility w/all of central IN having a nice layer of ice. Dh finally used conventional wisdom and stayed in bed. But our parsonage is right next door to the church so our church will never actually 'close'. It's more of a 'come at your own risk' situation!LOL

So, I said something about keeping my electric blanket on all day since I'd be in bed and DH says WHY? I said What else is there to do? Him: CLEAN! I nearly went thru the roof. I HATE WHEN HE CLEANS!!!!! So to redirect part of that, I'm goign to pitch my 'let's get the basement more family friendly for next weekend' idea. I've already got teh games in the basement nad there is a table right next to the armoire that they are being stored in. I know he'll have some other ideas.

Still no word on tonight's program. It's supposed to blow all afternoon tho. DH asked what I had planned for lunch. I said that since I made such a horrid supper last night that I w as goign to let him pick. He said he was goign to fry a hamburger and make a salad. I said that's what I hate about HIM doing lunch. HE ONLY MAKES FOR HIMSELF!

Oh well. I took a LONG HOT bath last night. Seriously, the windows were fogged up and I was beat red and sweating bullets. My hair seriously curled, but I didn't care since no church........ I get out and hear that they had lessen the winter storm stuff and freak and get my hair flat ironed JIC!LOL

Ok, I need to get moving before DH gets out of the shower. I should've put some vaseline on his towel to annoy him!;)

I really thought we were gonna get ker-smacked, but Praise the Lord!! Not as bad as they predicted!
Our driveway is drifted over, but my dh did manage to plow it out.....
Side roads are cruddy, and the main road is drifting where there are no trees to break the wind...........otherwise, the roads are fine!!

Ok, 95 days till SPRING!!
