What is THAT thermometer for?

Oh that reminds me a a really funny story! I have accused my mom for YEARS of stealing my candy thermometer after a candy making day one year. I do use the thermometer occasionally for other things so this was an annoyance to me. While cleaning out my friend's parents home, I found one in a package and she said that i could have it!LOL So Tuesday, we get out our packaging supplies and I had an opened box of one zip bags w/snowmen on them. Perfect for puppy chow. My SIL goes out to bag it and comes in w/my thermometer! Apparently my mom shoved it in that box and never told me and I've had no need to use those bags so there it's sat. Of course by now, my mom is supposedly candy thermometerless so I told her to just take it. Meanwhile, my 4yo nephew wonders over and asks what it is. My mom said a thermometer. His eyes got HUGE!ROTFL!!!!! SO mom looks at me and says something about him thinking it's a rectal one!ROTFL!
