Wednesday--long

I got up and worked out and Joey got thru school by 9. I needed to leave at 9:30 so I was amazed that it was even attempted!LOL Mat slept until 9, but I'd had him get out his suit and clothes last night and back his backpack of schoolwork so there wasn't much for him to do. I also got a roast in the CP for supper tonight.

So off we went. God knew I wasn't goign to be on time and sandwiched me inbetween 2 semis going 65mph (I'd have only gone 56-57!LOL). And as I was passing my parents' road, my sister came driving up. She called to tell me that she was doing a citizens arrest on me!ROTFL! She'd had a bad morning to say the least but was in a good mood by then. She's at that awkward postpg phase were NOTHING fits. She had a dress and hose and just bought navy boots to match and opened the box to see ONE boot! The cashier hadn't checked!

Again, the funeral itself was nice. I totally misunderstood my DH (I guess--he really didn't explain to me what he was doing!LOL). Since I wanted to go to the funeral, he didn't go to the viewing and came to the funeral too! Please understand, this is 1.5 hours away so not necessarily easy to work into a work schedule! He was naturally late, but oh well. He even came to the graveside service. My SIL spoke at both and I don't know how she did it! She was great tho!

We went to the meal afterwards (DH went back to work) and that was nice. We were sort of in charge of my niece and nephew. My mom also had my sister's baby cuz she had to leave for work. She handed me Keylee and told me to change her. She had on pantyhose. I told Keylee (5mo) that it'd been so long since I'd dealth w/hose that I wasn't sure if I knew how!ROTFL! So we left about 3 and headed back. Joey needed to use the bathroom and we were coming up to the cemetery where my gparents are so we did a twofer.;) We got home about 4:30 and I used the Dryel stain remover cuz Mat got some food on his suit and realized that I didnt' have the special sheet to put in it. I decided that odor wasn't that big of a deal and threw a dryer sheet in. It worked out great so I'll have to remember that little tip! I washed all the rest of our clothes and they will be ready for the next time after I press the boys' shirts.

So I just need to steam some veggies when DH gets home and set the roast out and supper is done. I'm glad cuz my head hurts and I'm DEAD!
