funeral.....

The funeral was today. It was very nice. I really enjoy their pastor and I love when the pastor actually knows the deceased! My brother's FIL was an avid basketball fan (he was a very good player himself playing at the collegiate level in the Big Ten) and the pastor said that he was probably greeted and told to go suit up cuz the Apostle Paul was in horrible foul trouble and King David has wicked defense but can't shoot at all!ROTFL!

It was sad, as to be expected, but it wasn't dreary. Everyone knew that he came to know the Lord about a year ago. And some of his former basketball teammates were there and discussing when THEY were saved. It's always nice to know that sports don't trump everything.;)
