HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!

Well it was for us anyway! We had my family Tday today and it was nice! And I think for the 1st time ever I was not stressed! I think everyone basically had a nice time. It was our twin cousins' bday and the one said it was the nicest birthday he'd ever had.;)  We did have cake for them. So the pumpkin pies didnt' really get eaten and I have a whole one in the freezer to take to IL.

A plus is that this is ALL cleaned up and the house put back together! I even have the tablecloths washed and the dishwasher going! DH moved all the furniture and I vacuumed under that. And as I was putting the vacuum away, I had to rearrange the leaf from the table so it wouldn't get scratched and there were my vacuum cleaner bags! UGH! I wished I'd found them BEFORE we vacuumed everywhere! But I got the bag changed and it's ready for next time.

DH is always a huge help pulling this off. He does the turkey (totally) and brings home a table from work and does lots of set up and take down for me. And since we do everything in crock pots, almost all the big dishes are done BEFORE we eat and we use those crock pot liners so there is very little clean up afterwards. I also only have 3 bags of turkey left! Everyone else took all the food, which is fine. They will all be run ragged next week and this way they won't have to cook much. And I have lots of room in my frig now w/all that stuff gone!ROTFL!

So we'll get everyone's hair cut and tucked into bed very soon.
