board games

Lately on Tuesday afternoons we've been playing board games. It's alway so much fun! I wish Dh were home more at night so he could join in on the action. Today it was mainly Joey and I. Thankfully my family keeps us stocked in them so we have a variety to choose from! Several have been bought at garage sales as well. My sister got Joey Cariboo for Christmas. ANYONE who has played that w/him is SO SICK OF IT!LOL He LOVES taht game and is always requesting to play it!LOL Today we only played it once. Actually we only played most of hte games once (we played for over an hour). He's wanting me to play hot wheels w/him right now. I told him to set the track up first!LOL

I have to admit that I am partial to 'the shape game' (AKA Perfection). It's the perfect game for a kid his age! Lots of mental challenges. We don't use the timer pre se. We set it and watch them all pop up, which he thinks is a scream,b ut  he's really quite good at knowing which shapes go where.

I had forgotten about the game Perfection! I remember it from my childhood. I'll have to look into getting it for my dc.
