Well after 2 days at home, we were gone all day. I woke up at 3am and couldn't sleep so I prayed and then 45min later there was a noise. I sounded EXACTLY like Mat's cap gun. He's used a hammer on some on the sidewalk. We had our first hard freeze last night and I don't know if one exploded that he missed or what. It woke DH up and we looked around and saw nothing. I managed not to completely freak out. But I didnt' get much more sleep. So I finally got up and worked out and got the van loaded. I think I packed half the house up! We even had 10 min and I told the boys to book it and we'd have time to go to the PO before MOMS group. Little did I know that I"d have to fill out a customs form to ship my candy to a soldier........ Anyway, it was done and I wasn't late for MOMS and got all that yummy (NOT!) food brought in. I have no idea if my neighbor wants the leftovers back, but there isn't much. Almost no one ate what she bought (2 kinds of mini donuts and a slab of danish) so I set it out for HS library (I did NOT want to get stuck w/2.5 packages of donuts at my house! I gave the danish away to a mom.) We got rid of alot of donuts at library!LOL But after moms, we went to both banks, the farm store for the oil that DH wanted, and Pizza Hut. We have ZERO in the checkbook and I was reminded of the BookIts so I was going to get the boys a personal pan and that's it (tip was pushing it). Dh heard me lay down the law w/Mat and he gave us some cash and the waitress pointed out that if we even order breadsticks, I could get the salad bar for $1. So that's what we did--not too shabby! I was very grateful at least. Then to library and they had their 'music' practice afterwards. They are performing Friday night and needed the practice! Mat's now reading a poem too.;) Then to Walmart to order my pics (that i need for the crop on Sat) and to check out the fall clearance. So we left at 8:20 and got home at 4.

Thankfully I have vegetable chowder pulled out of the freezer and I needed to use some chicken stock so I'm dumping it in there. I might need to add some half and half as well. A nice easy, healthy supper.

Tomorrow I have to clean the house since we're quite busy on Friday as well.
