Tuesday

Well the time change doesnt' seemed to have phased us at all! We don't seem to be missing a beat!

I worked out, bleached the hummingbird feeder (it was moldy and I"ll run it thru the DW a couple of times to make sure the bleach is gone), sorted thru some clothes for a friend. I have that boxed and ready to mail and a huge black bag of clothes for goodwill. Joey's got school done, but scraped some skin off a finger and nearly had a melt down. I'm sure it hurt, but his writing went to pot and I finally told him taht it was THE OTHER HAND!LOL After dragging school out until nearly 6 last night, Mat was done by 10:30 today. He got TV back, coincidence? I think not......LOL But he also vacuumed for me and hauled out some trash. So it's been a nice day.

I also got pork chops out to thaw and we'll have fried potatoes w/them. Maybe steamed veggies if I get around to it.

Oh DH and JOey and I LOVED the pumpkin sausage soup we had last night! Mat didn't, which surprized me, but OH YUMMY! Enuf for another meal too!

I have to drop a ton of money at hte PO tomorrow. It's still cheaper than driving, but OUCH! I'm shipping those clothes, a package to a soldier (cashed in on some Halloween candy clearances), a postcard (I don't have any postcard stamps), etc, etc. I'm sure I'll easily total $20. Plus I had lots of other spending to do. I had to order the book our Sunday School class is doing and front the money for that, arbonne (my face stuff) is doing 50% off things and so I cashed in on that. Plus the next 4 pays are short checks from Dh's work (WHY OH WHY DO THEY TAKE OUT THE TRUCK ALLOWANCE DURING THE HOLIDAYS!!!!!!).

But my mom has sweet potatoes so that's one less thing to buy. And I looked at teh calendar and after Monday, we are home ALL WEEK! So I'm goign to have my grocery list to shop on Monday for Saturday's Thanksgiving and I can give this place my all Tues-Friday w/purging, cooking and cleaning!!!!!! THANK YOU LORD!
